Fall Decorations

What is the first thing that you think of when it comes to fall decorations?

For me, it's color, an abundance of warm colors. Reds, oranges, yellows, and browns.

Beautiful colors, combined with nature's textures and smells, will help you create a cozy fall decorating theme.

Hang Indian corn, a fall wreath made of colorful leaves, or a grapevine wreath decorated with outdoor elements on your front door.

Place haystacks, cornstalks, and pumpkins on your front porch or front steps.

Don't forget to have a scarecrow displayed, as well! Making your own scarecrow from scratch can be a great "fall time" family activity. However, you can always purchase one, if you don't happen to have the time.

Perfect fall decorations, that simply cannot be forgotten, are beautiful fall mums. They are available in the most gorgeous colors imaginable!

Add fall mums to your front porch display to enhance your fall decor color scheme. Place them in a vase in your home for a burst of fall color in your foyer, dining room, or kitchen.

ADDITIONAL IDEAS FOR FALL DECORATIONS

* Fall leaf garland to drape over a hall table or sofa table. This is also nice to hang around doorways.

* Berry garland - consisting of fall colors. This can also be used in the same manner as the fall leaf garland.

* Use guords and little pumpkins to create interesting centerpieces.

* As it gets closer to Thanksgiving, be sure to add pilgrims and turkeys.
